Hey Ravi,

You provide an awesome service. I think most people are using the proper syntax, but some certainly aren't. Have you thought about figuring out who isn't using proper syntax and emailing those people? Could be a good amount of work, but I'm sure people would be happy to help with the effort (myself included).

Additionally, I did have one request I was hoping you could share at some point. I've been seeing a lot of lost-and-found posts on @caltrain. While I feel bad for anyone who's left something on the train, this is really when people should talk to conductors or call Caltrain. It's not enough of a reason to interrupt 2,500 people. Like Spock said...

Thanks for all you've done so far!

This is a great service. Would be hard to commute on Caltrain without it.

How about creating a third feed for the old car/new car announcements?

I appreciate the service, especially on the days when I have my bike with me. Overall, I appreciate the folks that are well intentioned and trying to help and communicate. I'm puzzled by the folks that would rather be self-righteous than happy.

Can the folks that are not following the guidelines be traced back through their handles? Perhaps it's just a case where they are not understanding / reading the twitter updates themselves.

I agree with you that the bikecar and caltrain feeds are best for information. Personal opinions, rage, displeasure with the world, etc is best left for your own twitter or journal.

Anyway, thanks for the service, I'm happily using the guidelines. ;)

I heart this service. Agree with limiting postings. I'm a newbie to Caltrain. 1 month! How about a concise bi-weekly or monthly tweet on this topic to help those of use who aren't always able to remember how the train numbers are encoded.

Don't be sad. Even a million dollar vehicle needs a tune up every once in a while.

Thanks for creating the service and sticking with it. I just discovered it, and it's the only thing I go to twitter for. With an RSS feed, the service is great in my office, for I can find out how things look for going home.

This post is very helpful (but going direct to cow.org isn't, as I can find any links from that home page).
